I have been going to shows in DC since i moved to Bethesda a few years ago. Going to shows has been a way for me to escape from the craziness of being a teen. I think it is ridiculous that this has ban has even proposed. Alex showed me a video of Ian Mackaye speaking out against this proposition. The man is a amazing, i really want to try and contact him and talk to him about his views. In the NYRA office in DC we are having some success in chapter formation, with the most recent being in Florida just this past week. We are also working on finding school newspapers to do an interview with us. All is well, Peace.

This is simply awesome. MacKaye says it better than anyone else could have. I have nothing but respect for this man. I wish I and other NYRA members could have made the committee meeting, but they moved up the date at the last minute. Just watch this, it is amazing:
